1. Introduction

Welcome to Mirrorpad. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. Mirrorpad is designed from the ground up to be a privacy-first application.

2. Data Collection & Usage

Mirrorpad operates on your local area network for drawing and mirroring. We do not collect, store, or transmit your drawing data, strokes, or screen contents to cloud servers.

  • Local Streaming: All communication between your drawing tablet and your computer occurs locally over your own Wi-Fi or wired network.
  • No Drawing Tracking: We do not use product analytics, advertising trackers, session replay, or screen capture inside the mirroring application.
  • Optional Diagnostics: The desktop app asks on first start whether to share anonymous performance traces and crash reports with CoderMana's self-hosted diagnostic systems. The prompt is checked by default, and you can opt out before continuing or withdraw consent later in Settings. Drawing content, screen contents, account details, addresses, and authentication tokens are excluded.
  • Account Access: A CoderMana account unlocks the desktop app. Your email and password are held by CoderMana's own sign-in service, which we run on our own infrastructure.

3. Security

You can configure local security settings, such as a connection password, within the Mirrorpad desktop application to ensure only authorized devices on your network can connect to your canvas.

4. Website Analytics

This website may collect basic, anonymous usage data, such as page views, and anonymous error reports (the error message and the script location where it occurred) to help us keep the site working. No account data, form contents, or tracking identifiers are included. This is separate from the Mirrorpad desktop and browser drawing experience.

5. Diagnostic Data Retention

When you opt in, diagnostic traces and crash reports are retained for up to seven days unless a shorter period is required for security or legal reasons. Disabling diagnostics stops future collection and resets the random diagnostic installation identifier.
